In July 2025, a team totaling 25 people joined Fundación Misión Misericordia for an unforgettable mission trip to Peru. Together, we served, learned, and witnessed God’s faithfulness in every step. Here are 10 snapshots of the journey, mission work, and cultural experiences:
The Group
“How good and pleasant it is when God’s people live together in unity!” (Psalm 133:1).
The Amazon's Riverside Church

Fundación Misión Misericordia (FMM), its donors, and every group member’s contribution helped build this humble church along the Amazon River.
Amazon Experience
We faced our fears, taking pictures with and eating Snakes, Lizards, and worms – just gotta face the fears!
By Boat
Transportation to the mission was by boats, the lifeline of Amazonian communities.
The Drone Shots
The kids love to see the drone fly. Shots of the Church, Amazon, and the Lima desert.
Stilt Houses
Homes are built high above the ground to protect families from flooding when the river rises. Spent a great day door-to-door offering prayers and inviting them to the night's concert event.
Lake Titicaca - Uro Childre of the Islands
We visited Uro communities, met children on the floating islands, shared Bible lessons, and enjoyed a joyful piñata with sweets together.
Provision for Families
With the support of our mission team, we purchased and packed essential food items—rice, beans, and more—for families in the tribe. I had the privilege of assembling the bags alongside the chief’s son, and later we held a distribution activity that blessed many households.
Scenery of Peru
Deserts, alpahacas, ponchos, and Machu Picchu, the beauty of God’s creation, and the rich heritage of Peru.
Children
One of the most moving parts of our journey was sharing life with the children we met. This short video captures simple but powerful moments — laughter, games, and joy that remind us why we serve.
Looking ahead to the future of this mission:
Reflect on this mission, we also look forward with hope:
🙏 Pray for Alex, the son of the Amazonian church’s cacique. His heart burns to serve in other nations, and he already has his passport ready. He dreams of joining us on future missions in Haiti.
🙏 Pray for Renzo, a young servant, full of God’s Word, who was always attentive and supportive during our journey. May God bless him and fulfill the dreams placed in his heart.
✨ In 2026, we plan to return to Peru for the next chapter of this mission. Follow Fundación Misión Misericordia (FMM) on social media to be part of the story..
